Our commitment to fostering a sustainable future was showcased brilliantly during the recent World Environment Day 2024 celebrations.
This year, in partnership with over 12 esteemed NGOs, including the Rotary Club Abuja Metro and C-Circle Foundation, we organized an engaging Debate Competition that brought together passionate students from public and private schools across Abuja.
The focus of the debate was on crucial environmental issues such as land restoration and desertification. The students’ insightful arguments and innovative solutions were not only impressive but also inspiring, reflecting their deep understanding and commitment to environmental sustainability.
The competition was a resounding success, with prizes awarded to the winning teams who demonstrated exceptional knowledge and creativity in their arguments.
As part of our initiative to promote environmental conservation, each participating school received a nursery tree, generously donated by the Rotary Club. These trees will be planted on the school grounds, serving as a lasting reminder of the importance of nurturing our environment.
